How to Use

Installation Steps
1. Assemble the Filter Candles: Insert each Terafil™ candle into the holes at the base of the top container. Tighten with self-threading nuts and washers (hand tighten no tools needed)
2. Attach the Tap: Fix the tap into the hole on the bottom container and tighten securely to avoid leakage
3. Stack Containers: Place the top container over the bottom container aligning the grooves
4. Initial Water Rinse: Fill the top container with clean water discard the first 2-3 filtrations (initial cleaning stage)

Instructions to Use
1. Pour source water into the top container (tap, pond, river, tank, borewell or even flood water)
2. Allow gravity to filter the water through Terafil™ candles
3. Dispense clean water from the tap in the bottom container
4. Refill the top container as needed for continuous supply

How to Maintain
1. Weekly Maintenance: Remove Terafil™ candles by turning the candle-holder (do not turn the earthen surface directly). Lightly scrub the outer surface with a soft brush under running water and then reassemble
2. Monthly Maintenance: Detach and clean the tap to prevent clogging. Place the top container (with the Terafil candles inside it) inverted on a flat surface. Use the hand-held bellow to pump air with your hands, into the back of the Terafil candles (water outlet side). If the water inside the candle’s capillaries ooze out, it indicates that the candles are perfectly clean. Repeat a few times for all candles.

Precautions
1. Keep the purifier away from direct sunlight to prevent algae growth
2. Do not disassemble the Terafil™ candles from their plastic casing
3. Use input water with moderate TDS up to 1000.
4. Pre-settle turbid water before pouring inside the purifier to maintain candle efficiency
5. Do not use hot water, soap, detergent, rough scrubbers or chemicals to clean the Terafil™ candles
